For two years, CHACHU helped families farm with seeds, land, and paid labor. Every harvest stayed 100% with the farmers.
Seeds
We provided families with seeds to plant, the start of each season's work.
Land
We rented land so families had space to farm, even when they did not own fields of their own.
Paid labor
We paid the families to farm the seeds, recognizing their work as real labor, not unpaid obligation.
Their harvest
When the crops came in, 100% of the harvest remained the property of the farmers.
